It also labels a 2 5/8 inch opening, a 3 inch hook height, a 2 1/2 inch shank width, and a 1 7/8 inch width at the top of the shank. The 2 inch designation refers to the bucket fork shaft size; the opening shown on the graphic is a separate physical measurement. Compare the complete hook profile, shaft, and installed position before ordering.

A bucket’s make or model does not establish fit by itself. Check its top edge, lip, reinforcement, steel structure, and available room for the hook and shaft. In a properly matched over-the-bucket fork setup, the welded hooks support the shaft while the fork assemblies ride on it. The hooks stay on the bucket after installation. The shaft and forks can be engaged when material needs to be moved, then disengaged when the bucket returns to its normal work. The forks themselves are not welded to the bucket.
