Weld-On Foundation for Custom Attachments and Repairs

The EQA38 is intended to be welded into a new or existing attachment structure. Its Euro / Global connection points provide the interface that meets the loader carrier, while the remaining plate gives the fabricator a surface for integrating the coupler into the attachment. Accurate positioning is essential because a plate that is twisted, tilted or welded at the wrong angle can affect engagement, rollback, ground position and operating clearance.

Euro and Global are commonly used names for this loader connection family, but those words do not guarantee that every carrier and plate will connect correctly. Before fabrication, compare the hook spacing, lower locking points, pin engagement, plate orientation, carrier clearance and rollback geometry. Confirm the tractor and loader manufacturer’s requirements for attachments and operating capacity.

The EQA38 is different from the UQA38 universal skid steer quick attach plate. The UQA38 uses the common skid steer-style interface, while the EQA38 is made for a compatible Euro or Global carrier. The two mounting systems should not be treated as interchangeable.

Before final welding, position the plate on the intended carrier and verify that the upper hooks seat correctly and the lower locking mechanism can fully engage. Check that the attachment sits at the planned angle and clears the loader through its operating range. After welding and cooling, repeat the fit check and inspect the plate and attachment for distortion, cracking, incomplete welds or interference.
