Description

The AG-GO 2G84U 84 inch universal brush grapple is built for operators who need broad coverage when clearing land, cleaning fence rows, gathering storm debris, or moving large piles of brush and logs. Its 84 inch frame covers more area per pass than the narrower models in the AG-GO line, making it a practical choice for larger compatible skid steers and loaders working on farms, construction sites, wooded property, and commercial cleanup projects.

The universal quick attach interface allows the grapple to connect to machines equipped with the matching skid steer style coupler. The attachment combines serrated lower teeth, two independently floating grapple arms, a 33 inch jaw opening, and 27 inch inside depth to help capture and control bulky material that cannot be carried securely in an open bucket.

Wide Frame and Independent Grapple Arms

The 84 inch width is the defining advantage of the 2G84U. It allows an operator to work across a wider brush pile, windrow, or cleanup area, which can reduce the number of passes required on large jobs. The extra width is especially useful when gathering limbs after a storm, removing overgrown fence rows, consolidating clearing debris, or moving bulky material to a burn pile or disposal area.

Aggressive serrated teeth help the lower frame work underneath tangled brush, roots, logs, and uneven debris. As the grapple closes, the teeth and upper arms hold the load from opposite directions to improve control during lifting and transport.

The two grapple arms move independently rather than remaining locked in the same position. If one side of a pile is taller or denser, each arm can follow its portion of the load. This helps the attachment maintain contact with irregular material and limit shifting when handling:

  • Brush, limbs, and storm debris
  • Roots, logs, and wooded-property cleanup
  • Fence-row and pasture overgrowth
  • Construction and demolition debris
  • Agricultural and livestock-area cleanup

Operators can compare the 2G84U with other widths and mounting systems in the complete selection of AG-GO grapple attachments.

Universal Quick Attach Fit and Machine Selection

The 2G84U is designed for compatible universal quick attach machines. “Universal” describes the coupler style, but it does not mean the grapple fits every skid steer or loader. Before ordering, verify the coupler geometry, machine lift capacity, hydraulic flow and pressure, hose routing, and operating limits.

A standard-duty configuration is available for machines rated up to 65 horsepower, while a heavy-duty version is offered for equipment rated up to 100 horsepower. Horsepower is only one part of attachment selection. The machine must also safely handle the grapple’s weight plus the actual material being lifted. Wide or dense loads should remain centered and be carried low during travel.

Standard hydraulic hoses and protective cylinder guards are included. Hydraulic couplers are not supplied, allowing the installer to select the connection that matches the machine. Hose clearance should be checked through the loader’s complete operating range before work begins.

Operators who want the same universal mounting style with easier maneuvering in tighter areas can compare the 2G72U 72 inch universal grapple. Machines using a Euro loader connection require a different mounting interface, such as the 2G84E Euro brush grapple.

The 2G84U is manufactured in the USA at PRO-Link’s production facility as part of the AG-GO attachment line. It is covered by PRO-Link’s one-year limited warranty against manufacturer’s defects.

Questions & Answers

Does the 2G84U fit every skid steer?

No. It requires a compatible universal skid steer style quick attach coupler. Buyers must also confirm hydraulic requirements, lift capacity, attachment weight, and machine operating limits.

When should I choose an 84 inch universal brush grapple?

Choose the 84 inch model when wide coverage and high-volume cleanup are priorities and the machine is properly sized for the attachment. A narrower model may be easier to use around gates, buildings, trees, or confined work areas.

What comes with the 2G84U?

The grapple includes standard hydraulic hoses and cylinder guards. Hydraulic couplers are not included and must be selected to match the machine’s hydraulic connections.
