396TXJ Hay Fork

The 396TXJ hay fork with the 110T sleeve/collar is a compact, precision-focused bale spear designed for easier penetration and reduced bale disturbance when handling tight or wet round bales. Its smaller diameter and tapered profile make it an excellent choice for operators who prioritize control, clean penetration, and smooth bale removal.

This model features a 39-inch Conus I hay fork with a 1.375-inch diameter, making it smaller than most standard bale spears. The reduced diameter allows the spear to penetrate dense or moisture-heavy bales more easily while minimizing damage during withdrawal, helping preserve bale integrity during feeding and transport.

Tapered Design, Sleeve Assembly, and Installation Flexibility

The 396TXJ is supplied complete with a 110T weld-in sleeve/collar and PRO-Link’s Doublenut® locking system, providing secure retention and long-term stability under load. The square shank design supports omni-directional mounting, allowing flexible orientation during installation to suit a wide range of frames and attachments.

For proper installation, the sleeve should be welded into the steel tube without the spear inserted; weld the sleeve only. Once installed, the system delivers a rigid, dependable connection designed for repeated lifting and unloading cycles.

Rated at 1,700 lb. at a 30-inch load center, the 396TXJ hay fork is well suited for lighter bale-handling applications where precision, ease of use, and controlled engagement are critical.
