Lightweight Universal Quick Attach with Increased Rollback

Two main spears spread contact across the round bale and help reduce spinning and side-to-side movement. Both tines should enter evenly into sound material. A shallow or off-center pickup can stress the spears, frame, and loader while making the bale harder to control.

The 48 inch tines provide deep engagement in many round bales, including common sizes from approximately 4 foot by 4 foot to 5 foot by 6 foot. These are examples, not guaranteed fit ranges. Confirm proper engagement, backrest clearance, actual weight, and machine capacity.

The U248-48 can handle suitable dry grass hay, alfalfa, mixed hay, and straw. Wet hay, frozen bales, silage, haylage, and tightly compressed material can weigh much more than dry hay of the same size. Consider moisture, crop type, density, and storage conditions before lifting.

Do not combine the two spear ratings and claim a 6,000 pound attachment capacity. The lowest-rated spear, collar, hardware, frame, weld, coupler, loader, or carrier controls the usable limit.
