How AG-GO Over-the-Bucket Fork Kits Work
An AG-GO bucket fork kit uses steel hooks welded to the top front edge of a compatible bucket. The round shaft is supported by those hooks, and the fork assemblies ride on the shaft through welded bushings or eyes. The operator can adjust their spacing for different loads.
Once the hooks are installed, the shaft and forks can be engaged or disengaged with controlled bucket movements. This lets the machine return to normal bucket work after the removable assembly is set down. The forks themselves are not welded to the bucket.
Initial installation should be completed by a qualified welder or fabricator. Hook location affects shaft alignment, clearance, fork position, and how lifting forces enter the bucket. The installer must confirm that the bucket and reinforcing structure are suitable for the work.

Featured BF6060: 6,000-Pound Capacity with 60-Inch Forks

The new BF6060 60-inch loader bucket forks extend the 6,000-pound AG-GO range beyond the BF6048’s 48-inch forks. Its forged tines reach farther beneath deep pallets, lumber, fence posts, pipe, and other long materials.
That added reach can provide more support when material extends beyond 48-inch blades. Fork spacing remains adjustable along the shaft for different load widths.
Longer forks increase leverage when weight is placed toward the tips. The BF6060’s rating does not increase the loader’s capacity. Operators must consider load-center information, bucket strength, ballast requirements, material weight, and center of gravity. Choose the BF6048 when 48-inch forks provide enough support and easier maneuvering is important. Choose the BF6060 when the work regularly involves deeper pallets or long material that benefits from another 12 inches of fork length.

Matching Bucket Forks to Different Machines
The BF2500’s 42-inch forks can suit compact tractors and smaller loaders performing lighter jobs when the bucket opening, machine capacity, and load match its specifications.
For skid steers and utility loaders, the BF4500 provides a 4,500-pound option with 48-inch forks. The BF6048 raises the kit rating to 6,000 pounds for properly matched equipment.
The BF8048 gives properly matched larger loaders an 8,000-pound kit with 48-inch blades for standard pallet work and easier maneuvering.
The BF8060 combines an 8,000-pound rating with 60-inch blades for compatible backhoes, larger loaders, and wheel loaders handling long or bulky materials.
These are possible uses, not universal-fit promises. Measure the bucket opening, width, top-edge shape, steel thickness, clearance, and hook area before ordering.
Load Position, Visibility, and Safe Operation
Bucket-mounted forks move the load forward from the machine. The farther weight sits from the bucket and fork uprights, the more leverage it places on the loader. This is especially important with 60-inch forks.
Set the forks evenly, center the load, and keep the heaviest portion close to the uprights. Carry loads low, travel slowly, and avoid sudden movements. Allow additional turning and stopping room for long materials. Watch for people, overhead lines, uneven ground, slopes, and obstructions. Never allow anyone to ride on the forks or stand beneath a raised load.
Inspect the forks, bushings, shaft, hooks, retaining hardware, welds, and bucket before use. Stop if any part is loose, bent, cracked, excessively worn, or misaligned.
