The SM39FXJ hay bale stabber is a compact, extreme-duty spear engineered to deliver maximum strength, smooth penetration, and clean bale release in a shorter 39-inch length. Designed for dense, wet, or tightly packed bales, this spear provides exceptional handling performance without sacrificing load capacity.

This model features a 39-inch long, 1.75-inch diameter SUPERSTIX hay bale stabber without the 144T sleeve/collar. The full assembly is the 39FXJ. The tapered profile begins at the sleeve end and extends to the tip, allowing the spear to enter and exit bales efficiently while reducing drag, suction, and hang-ups. The omni-directional flute geometry provides consistent strength regardless of mounting orientation, improving versatility across a wide range of frames and attachments.

Fluted Tapered Design and Extreme-Duty Performance

Rated at 3,800 lb. at a 30-inch load center, the SM39FXJ is manufactured from high-strength, heat-treated steel to withstand demanding agricultural use without flexing or fatigue.
