33SS Pin Type Bale Spear

The 33SS pin type bale spear is a 33-inch cross-bolt hay spear engineered for dependable performance in everyday bale-handling applications. With a 1.675-inch diameter, this spear provides a balanced combination of strength and controlled penetration, making it well suited for both round and square bale handling in agricultural environments.

This model is supplied as a complete installation package and includes the 155 weld-in sleeve/collar along with the required nut and bolt. The assembly is designed for permanent installation into hay-moving implements, providing a stable and secure mounting point for consistent load handling.

Fluted Cross-Bolt Design and Weld-In Sleeve Installation

The 33SS features a dual-side fluted spear design that improves penetration into the bale and allows for easier removal compared to non-fluted spears. The spear is bi-directional; for optimal performance and reduced bale disturbance, the fluted sides should be positioned parallel to the ground during installation.

The included 155 sleeve/collar is designed to be welded directly into the attachment frame. For proper installation and safety, the spear must not be installed in the sleeve during welding. Once the sleeve is welded in place, the spear is inserted and secured using the included bolt and nut, creating a rigid, dependable connection.

Rated at 3,000 lb. at a 30-inch load center, the 33SS pin type bale spear is engineered to reflect real-world bale-handling conditions. It is interchangeable with most aftermarket hay forks, making it a practical replacement option across a wide range of farm and livestock operations.
