Install the Conus I Sleeve and Doublenut®

The included 110T sleeve is welded into a suitable bale-handling frame or support tube. A qualified fabricator should establish sleeve alignment, projection, weld procedure, and the strength of the complete assembly. Remove the spear and nuts before welding; allow the empty sleeve to cool, then inspect its tapered seat and clearances. Do not weld with the removable tine installed.

To assemble the connection, place the tapered shank in the matching sleeve. Tightening the conical nut draws the spear into the sleeve’s tapered seat. The second nut locks against the first to help resist vibration-related loosening during repeated handling.
