The HAYSTIX® S436TXJ 43-inch replacement hay tine is a spear-only option for restoring a compatible bale-handling attachment while keeping an existing serviceable sleeve in place. It measures 43 inches long by 1.375 inches in diameter, uses a Conus I tapered mounting profile, and is rated at 1,700 pounds at a 30-inch load center. Its long, tapered shape supports deep engagement and smoother release when handling large square bales, round bales, straw, silage, and other dense feed materials.

No sleeve or collar is included with the S436TXJ. It is designed to seat in a compatible 110T weld-in sleeve and use PRO-Link’s patented Doublenut® system. This makes the bare spear useful when the original tine is bent, worn, cracked, or missing but the collar, frame, and welds remain in good condition.

Replace the Spear While Keeping a Serviceable 110T Sleeve

A damaged hay tine does not always mean the entire attachment must be rebuilt. When the installed 110T sleeve is secure, correctly aligned, and free from cracks or excessive wear, the S436TXJ allows the spear itself to be changed without cutting the collar out of the frame. That can reduce repair work and return an otherwise sound bale carrier to service.

Before ordering, compare the old component with the S436TXJ. Confirm the 43-inch length, 1.375-inch diameter, Conus I taper, square shank, threaded end, and Doublenut® connection. If the existing sleeve is loose, distorted, cracked, or badly worn inside, replacing only the tine is not a suitable repair. The 43-inch reach helps the tine engage farther into properly sized bales during feeding, stacking, staging, and trailer loading. Conus I Taper and Doublenut® Mounting

Installation begins by sliding the tapered shank into the matching 110T collar. The conical nut draws the spear firmly into the sleeve, and the jam nut locks against it to help resist loosening caused by vibration and repeated handling cycles. The square shank can be oriented during installation to suit the layout of a properly designed single- or multi-spear frame.

When installed in a compatible bale attachment, this 43-inch replacement hay tine may serve equipment carried by tractor front-end loaders, skid steers, or telehandlers. Machine type alone does not guarantee fit.
