This 3,000 lb, 48 inch hay bale spike doesn’t include the 155 sleeve unlike our 48SS and is a great replacement bale spear. The flute is to be installed in a sleeve with the flutes on the side “parallel” to the ground. It’s tested at a 3,000 pound capacity at a 30″ load center. PRO-Link Hayspears® are the only fluted bale spears that started this way of testing and shows a capacity rating tat’s more accurate. Also, we offer a (1) one year warranty.
