SM39TXJ Hay Tine

The SM39TXJ hay tine is a heavy-duty Conus II tapered bale spear designed for operators who need dependable performance without purchasing a complete sleeve assembly. Built as a spear-only replacement, this model is ideal for maintaining existing bale-handling setups while preserving strength, penetration efficiency, and load control.

This hay tine measures 39 inches in length with a 1.75-inch diameter and features a omni directional, tapered design. The fluting and gradual taper promote smooth entry into dense or compacted hay while reducing drag during withdrawal, helping minimize bale disturbance and improve overall handling efficiency. The square, fluted profile provides equal strength in any mounting orientation.

Conus II Taper and Replacement Compatibility

The SM39TXJ is supplied without a sleeve or mounting hardware, making it well suited for use with existing Conus II sleeves already welded into frames or attachments. Operators requiring a complete spear-and-sleeve assembly should reference the 39TXJ model. As part of the HAYSTIX® series, this hay tine is engineered to perform reliably in demanding farm, ranch, and commercial agricultural environments.
