The 76CSJ Tapered Cotton Spike is a heavy-duty cotton bale tine manufactured in the U.S.A. and engineered for demanding cotton handling applications that require extended reach, reliable penetration, and stable load control. Mounting System, Installation, and Applications

This tapered cotton spike is supplied with the 165T tapered sleeve and PRO-Link’s patented Doublenut® locking system. The Doublenut® system utilizes a conical nut and jam nut combination to resist vibration and prevent loosening during operation, ensuring a secure and long-lasting connection between the spike and sleeve.

For proper installation, the 165T sleeve must be welded into the attachment frame separately, and the spike must never be installed during the welding process. Once welding is complete and the sleeve has cooled, the spike is inserted and secured using the Doublenut® system to ensure proper seating, alignment, and long-term reliability.
