SM55TXJ Hay Stabber

The SM55TXJ hay stabber is a long-reach tapered spear designed for deep, stable engagement when handling full-size round bales. Its extended length allows the spear to penetrate fully into the bale core, improving load control and reducing the risk of tearing or partial engagement during lifting and transport.

Manufactured with a Conus II square-tapered profile, the SM55TXJ is built from heat-treated steel to withstand high-load agricultural use. The tapered design promotes smooth penetration while maintaining the strength required for repeated heavy-duty operation in feeding, loading, and transport applications.

Long-Reach Design and Doublenut® Retention System

The SM55TXJ is supplied with PRO-Link’s Doublenut® locking system, which maintains consistent clamping force under working pressure and resists loosening caused by vibration and repeated use. The square tine configuration supports multi-directional mounting, offering flexibility across a wide range of tractor and loader spear frames.

This model does not include a 144T sleeve/collar, making it suitable for replacement or custom frame installations where a sleeve is already in place. Rated at 3,500 lb. at a 30-inch load center, the SM55TXJ is part of the HAYSTIX® lineup and is engineered for dependable performance in demanding bale-handling conditions.
