The S39S cross hole bale spike is a 39-inch cross-bolt hay spear designed for dependable bale handling and straightforward replacement in existing hay spear setups. Sold as the spear only, this model is ideal for operators who already have a compatible weld-in sleeve installed and need a reliable replacement without purchasing a full assembly.

Measuring 39 inches in length with a 1.625-inch diameter, the S39S provides a balanced combination of strength and controlled penetration for both round and square bale applications. Its robust construction supports consistent handling performance during lifting, transport, and feeding operations.

Cross-Hole Design and Fluted Penetration

All PRO-Link Hayspears® feature a dual-side fluted design that improves penetration into the bale and allows for easier removal compared to non-fluted spear designs. The S39S should be installed with the fluted sides positioned parallel to the ground to achieve optimal penetration, reduced drag, and cleaner withdrawal from the bale.
