436TXJ Bale Spike

The 436TXJ bale spike is a tapered HAYSTIX® spear with the 110T sleeve/collar and is designed for applications that require smooth release and precise control when handling large square bales. Its Conus I tapered profile reduces surface contact inside the bale, allowing easier withdrawal compared to larger-diameter tines, particularly when used in multi-spike or grouped arrangements.

Manufactured from high-strength, heat-treated steel, the 436TXJ provides dependable performance in attachment-based and fabricated frame setups. The 43-inch spike length offers effective bale engagement while maintaining controlled handling during lifting, transport, and unloading operations.

Tapered Design, Sleeve Assembly, and Mounting Versatility

This model includes a welded-ready 110T sleeve/collar and PRO-Link’s patented Doublenut® locking system, ensuring secure retention and resistance to loosening during operation. The square shank design supports multi-directional mounting, making the 436TXJ adaptable to a wide range of custom frames and bale-handling attachments.

The included sleeve is intended to be welded into steel tubing only. For proper fitment and safety, the spear must be removed from the sleeve prior to welding. Rated at 1,700 lb. at a 30-inch load center, the 436TXJ is well suited for grouped spear configurations and precision bale handling applications.
