STAB1 Hay Bale Stabilizer

The STAB1 hay bale stabilizer is designed to improve bale control by reducing rotation and side-to-side movement during lifting, transport, and stacking operations. With a compact 17-inch length, this stabilizer provides essential lateral support for both round and square bale handling, helping operators maintain better load balance and control.

Manufactured from heavy-duty steel, the STAB1 is built to withstand demanding agricultural use. It is compatible with most hay frames, bale spears, and loader attachments that utilize tapered or cross-bolt bale spears, making it a versatile addition to a wide range of bale-handling setups.

Bale Stability and Attachment Compatibility

When used in conjunction with a primary bale spear—such as HAYSTIX® hay spears—the STAB1 helps keep bales balanced while reducing twisting and side-loading forces on the main spear. This added stability improves handling safety, minimizes unwanted bale movement, and can help extend the service life of both bale spears and frames.

The STAB1 can be welded or bolted onto existing hay attachments, offering flexibility for new builds, retrofits, or equipment upgrades. It is well suited for use on three-point bale movers, skid steer hay frames, and tractor front-end loaders where improved bale stability is critical for efficient operation.
